Inpuut (a product of Tiny Orbit Labs, referred to as "we", "our", or "us") is built on the principle of complete data privacy.
We believe your notes and thoughts belong entirely to you. This policy explains how we handle data within the Inpuut application.
Inpuut is a local-first application. All notes, tags, and text you enter into the app are stored entirely on your device using a local database.
We do not have servers that store your notes.
We cannot read, access, or transmit your content.
If you delete the app without manually exporting your data first, it is permanently erased from your device.
To keep Inpuut fast and reliable, we use a privacy-friendly tool called Aptabase to collect basic, anonymous usage data (telemetry).
What we collect: App launch speeds and basic interactions (e.g., "Note Created" or "Theme Changed").
What we NEVER collect: Your keystrokes, the content of your notes, your name, or your location.
Opt-out: You can completely disable this telemetry at any time by toggling off "Anonymous Analytics" in the app's settings menu.
Because we do not collect personal identifiable information (PII) or user content, we have nothing to sell or share. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
If we introduce optional features that require cloud syncing or accounts in the future, we will update this policy and request your explicit consent before any data leaves your device.
If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, please contact us at [email protected].
